Happy Family Day! If you’re not familiar with Family day, it’s a provincial holiday which is celebrated in some Canadian Provinces, one being Ontario! So we get the day off:) I will never complain about an extra day to spend with the two loves of my life, Andrew and Annabelle <3 They make my heart smile!
So on this day filled with love, I’m going to share with one of one my latest high protein snacks cause I mean, you know I love my protein. One thing you WILL notice, however, is that I will not be using Protein Powders in the next two weeks. I recently ran out of my latest tub and due to the recent expensive weekend my “spending cash” has diminished and therefore won’t be buying another tub until next pay. As much as I love my protein powder, one tub is almost $50.00 and that $50.00 can be spent for much needed veggies and real protein (which I will need in the next two weeks). It’s all about priorities! So for all of you that don’t use protein powders…Enjoy!!
So let’s get to yesterday’s amazing PB Banana Yogurt!
1/2 cup non fat greek yogurt
2 tbsp Chocolate PB2 (or peanut flour)
1/2 jar of banana baby food (or 1/2 mashed banana)
1. In a mixing bowl, place all ingredients and mix until fully blended. If you’re using peanut flour you may want to add a few drops of stevia or any sweetener of your choice as PB2 has sugar in it:)
You cannot complain about time restraint to make this healthy, high protein snack! Heck no! It will take you a maximum of 1 min to make! Not.Even.Kidding. It’s satisfying, filling and great tasting! I mean who doesn’t like banana with peanut butter? Not this girl;)

Mmm Mmm good!
Well, that’s it for me today, back to some snuggles with my loves on this beautiful family day! I’ll be posting more non-protein powder recipes in the weeks to come!
