Just finished a hard workout and need a quick but delicious protein shake? (I know I do!) Look no further my friends! Because today, I’m sharing my favourite go-to shake.
2 cups water
1 scoop of protein powder
2 cups of spinach
1/2 TBSP coconut oil
2 drops of stevia
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp xanthan gum
5-6 ice cubes
*Adding the coconut oil added so much more froth to my smoothie! If you haven’t tried adding it to your smoothie, I urge you to do it…NOW!
1. Place you water, protein powder, spinach, coconut oil, cinnamon and stevia in the blender and MIX
2. Once everything is well blended, add in the ice cubes and xanthan gum
3. Blend until fully smooth
4. ENJOY my friends
It makes TWO bowls for me!! SCORE! I can’t lie, I like volume (which is why I use two cups of water) you may want to use less water but this is perfect for me!
I don’t know if you noticed but my blender is actually cracked….noooo!
I was washing it about 3 weeks ago and it slipped out of my hands and it cracked:( It still works but I’m worried of it completely breaking on me. Andrew mentioned that I may be able to purchase the glass part alone from Breville. *fingers crossed* this blender was NOT cheap!
Ok back to the shake. I add 1/2 TBSP of Chocolate Chia Goodness for an extra bit of good fat and crunch:) mmmm
